If you've ever heard of body doubling for productivity - this workshop is going to be tapping in to the power of just that!
A body double is a friend or partner who works simultaneously, either in the same room or virtually. Doing tasks in the presence of other people can help increase motivation and productivity. Whenever I have my Songwriters Studio songwrite together (but individually all on mute over zoom) everyone comes away saying, "Wow! That helped me stay focused SO much!"
There is something about seeing other people writing, painting, singing, DOING the things of their dreams as you are doing it simultaneously... (the same happens when my husband and I are cleaning the house together!) There's accountability. You're not so alone in the act of creating. There is more motivation and inspiration and resolve to actually stick with it and really not let anything come in the way of this sacred time that you have prioritized for yourself to be creative!

Phase 1
In Phase One, you will be guided through the writing process to know how to create, refine and choose the best song(s) to release next so you know that your next release is something you can be proud of! You will also be given immediate strategy and systems to begin to cultivate your audience and platform, so that when release day comes, you have a solid core community that is excited to cheer you on!
Phase 2
In Phase Two, you will learn how to record yourself, the ins and outs of mixing and mastering, choosing a distributor, cover art, registering your music, uploading to streaming platforms, so you can get featured on playlists & blogs and generate PR for yourself. You will learn how to let people in on your process and create content for social media as you progress so you can share with people along the way, as you are learning and growing.
Phase 3
In Phase Three, you will learn how to create a killer release/launch strategy, not only for your music but for any product you create in the future. You will learn how to systematically build your brand and platform along the way so that when it comes time to "rinse and repeat" (do this whole process again of write + record + release + promote) you will know exactly what you are doing & you will have an ever increasing number of people who will celebrate you and your music.

There are two possible tracks you can take in the Songwriters Studio:
Track 1: The Songwriters Studio Song Circle
Not everyone is interested in growing their audience or developing in all the ways listed above! Some artists are just interested in the songwriting part with occasional inspiration in cultivating creativity. If this is you, than you can join the Songwriters Studio for just one hour a week for 6 months, for a total of €600 (which comes to 100 per month).
This includes:
- a songwriters circle style sharing of songs,
- being part of the studio community
- and one group coaching topic/session per month. Beginners and advanced songwriters are welcome here.
Track 2: The Songwriters Studio Intensive
The Songwriters Studio Intensive Track is the full shabang!
The full course (for the Songwriters Studio Intensive) includes:
- two hours of group coaching per week - 1 hour in the songwriters circle style song sharing and 1 hour of deeper mental & emotional resilience training in a smaller group on all topics essential for a growing artist career
- being part of the studio community
- all 6 of the bonus masterclasses
- plus 6 - one hour private coaching sessions (one each month) for the special Songtober songwriting challenge price of €1,499 (which comes out to 250 per month). Beginners and advanced songwriters welcome in this track as well. Each small group coachings topics are geared to the group's unique needs and desires.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Do I have to have the right recording equipment? No, the recording part of the course will be done with both Logic Pro and Garage Band. If you already have Logic Pro or you want to buy it great, but if not, Garage Band is free. You can purchase a professional microphone if you want but you can also do incredible things with EQing and mixing simply by using the built- in mic on your phone.
- What if I can't play an instrument? If you don't play an instrument, I will help you lay down some basic acoustic guitar or keys for your track, as well as show you how to use easy tools on garage band with built in software instruments that sound great!
- What if I’m not tech savvy? Me either. I know tech can be extremely frustrating at times but as long as you can press play and pause, you will be fine. I will be here to support you gaining access to everything and here to help if there are any problems. Any software we recommend or free tools will all have their own support as well. You’ve got this!
- When will the course meet? It will take place once a week as a group, with supplemental masterclasses and accountability, as well as private coaching once a month (so a total of 5 times a month!).
- Can I use my private coaching time for anything I want? In a word, yes! You can get help with songwriting or recording, focus in on mental and emotional resilience training, use the time for voice lessons, or get strategic with marketing/promoting your brand, as well as business coaching.
- What if I can't attend a session? All sessions will be recorded so you won't have to miss anything!
- Will I be able to release an album or just a single? Guaranteed, if you follow everything that will be taught throughout this course, you will be able to release a single within that 6 month time frame. It also depends on your willingness to implement the things I'm teaching but if you are a hard worker and want to incorporate the same skills into an EP or a full album, you absolutely CAN release more than one song! But it would also be beneficial to discuss the pros and cons about whether, releasing a series of singles would be more beneficial than an EP or full album. All of which we could do together!
